Skinny Margarita


As we approached Memorial Day weekend kickoff in my Summer Slimdown Bootcamp one of my girls raised the question many were thinking:

How can we enjoy some beverages this weekend without totally derailing our results?

Great question friend!

I have a deep love for the bubbly – AND for margaritas but truthfully my stomach can’t handle the sugars that a margarita mix includes.

Poolside, this has become a favorite summer treat and simple to whip together as a single serving glass OR pitcher when gathering with friends.



  • 2tbs Silver Tequila (I’m not a brand snob but will say the quality makes a HUGE difference in the taste!) 
  • 1tbs lemon juice
  • 1tbs lime juice 
  • Lime sparkling water 
  • Ice


Combine tequilla and juices in a shaker cup with ice. Shake well. Pour into a cup of ice and top with sparkling water. Simple as that – then ENJOY!
