Salted Caramel Shakeo

Ok – so I’ve never been a coffee drinker but there’s something about that salted caramel mocha from Starbucks that comes to mind  EVERY TIME I see that little Starbucks icon! I guess the sweet and salty combo but from someone who “hates coffee” I could drink one of those bad boys daily!! However…I know that just wouldn’t be good for anyone involved – too much sugar and too much JUNK!!! So, well, I don’t 🙂

When I saw this sea salt caramel shakeology on Melanie’s blog it inspired me to make my own little blended concoction! I also think this would be fabulous with adding in a little coffee in place of the water but for now – I kept it simple:

Sea Salt Shakeo

  • 1 scoop chocolate shakeology

  • 1/2 tsp of caramel extract

  • A few shakes of pink himalyan salt

  • 4 oz almond milk

  • 6 oz water

  • LOTS of ice

Nutty Butter and Maple Pecan shakeo

Ok, so I don’t switch up my shakes very often – I absolutely love my Chocolate shakeo with 1/2 cup of unsweetened almond milk, 1/4 of a FROZEN banana and a TBS of PB2 however…every now and then I like to switch things up and so does my hubby!

Here are two fun ones we both enjoy!

Nutty Butter

1 cup of milk (almond, soy, etc…)

1/2 cup of water

1 scoop vanilla shakeology

1/4 cup of walnuts

1 TBS natural peanut butter or PB2

1 frozen banana

Ice to taste

 

Maple Pecan

1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk

1/2 cup water

1 scoop vanilla shakeo

1 TBS pecans

1 TBS cashews

1 tsp pure maple syrup

Ice to taste

 I had no idea how amazing a little sugar free/fat free pudding mix could be, but holy cow! Talk about a guilt free treat!!! 

Butterfinger shakeology totally hits that junk food craving button and kicks any chance of caving for a candy bar to the curb!!!

Butterfinger Shakeo:

1 Scoop Chocolate Shakeo

8oz almond milk (Or half water/half milk)

2 TBS PB2

2 TBS Fat free/sugar free butterscotch pudding mix
