The hubs and I have been rocking the 4:41am wake up since January 15th and I think its safe to say WE SET A NEW HABIT!

And I think its safe to say and I am proud to say that this little arms, abs and booty program is WORKING!

I would love to share with you that I am down 5 or 10 pounds or something drastic but guess what – the scale isn’t budging over here but I have LEARNED that the scale does not DEFINE my worth…and to me that is irreplaceable!!! #NonScaleVictoryForTheWIn

And my most self conscious area is SLOWLY lifting and I am leaning into the COMPOUND EFFECT and realize that this program isn’t 21 days or 60 days but its 80 days and I know with consistency I am going to reach my goals!

So what’s next with phase 2? 
For starters we are RAMPING up!
This next phase of the program raises the intensity and in turn INCREASES our food.

While I am happy with the visual results I realized I have been eating in the same bracket/caloric level for nearly 4 years and I am going to take the expert’s advice and go from a “weight-loss” formula to a “maintenance” formula.

This is a weeeee bit scary for me because I feel like its SO MUCH FOOD but I have seen the results from others and I am excited to see how my body responds to this new C level of eating.

Here’s the road map for Phase 2 week 1/week 5 of our Arms, Abs and BOOTY program:

We just wrapped up week 2 in my 80 Day Launch party and let me just say the results are speaking for themselves.

I’m not talking so much about the visual changes as much as the way people are FEELING as a result of taking their HEALTH -AND- FITNESS to the next level.

In the last two weeks I’ve received some repetitive questions about this new 80 Day journey I am following (and leading for others) along with a few questions on how the timed nutrition plan works and I thought I would address some of the most common questions here. Q: Do you just drink shakes all day?

A: Ummmm NO! I do enjoy my superfoods shaken daily and have found immense relief using a post workout routine chocolatey slice of heaven in a cup to reduce the muscle soreness but my sweet friends YOU eat to fuel your bod here….and it comes in various forms.

Q: I bet your food is so bland and boring! So do you just munch on carrots and lettuce and call it a day?

Ummmm again, NOOOOO!
You’re EATING a good bit of WHOLE, natural FOODS!
And I am actually in the lowest calorie bracket and chances are in phase 2 I’ll even be eating more.
This is just a sample of the food I eat in a day. No I am not just “eating to eat” and YES I do really enjoy these foods!

Q: But it just seems TOO HARD to follow, especially on the weekends. 

A: My simple answer: if you want something you’ve never had you have to do something you’ve never done

But in all honesty…YES it takes planning, a lot of planning, and prep & YES it takes time, YES it takes discipline but it’s only “HARD” when you allow it to be hard.

And when you EMBRACE THE CHALLENGE & CHANGE all in one swoop…anything is possible

We follow the meal plan on the weekend just as we do the week day!

Q: I’m not going to follow the nutrition plan, but I’ll do the 80 day obsession workouts, okay?!?

A: That’s totally fine but if you don’t follow the nutrition plan, then you are not “DOING THE PROGRAM”.

The program comes in two pieces, the fitness & the nutrition. To completely do the PROGRAM you must do both pieces.

Can you do the program and get good results?
Sure you can.
But to get the results you see from the test group participants you really do need to follow the timed nutrition aspect as well.

Let me clarify this is not a quick fix. This is simply a clean balance of whole foods SPECIFICALLY designed with macro combos with 5 meals each day. You’re not CUTTING any food group out and therefore do not have any phases back in. Its a lifestyle you could continue and the results, while they may not be DRASTIC, they’re going to be RESULTS I can sustain and THAT is something I can benefit from!

THE RESULTS ARE IN!!!!

Week 1….

After following my Timed Nutrition and rocking some of the HARDEST workouts I’ve ever done…😵🙃😵

And yes…I’m making a point to SHARE this!

Because, last week when I shared my Goodbye pics I also shared I would be documenting this journey publicly – the good, bad and ugly…although I will admit, when I put that post up I totally expected some IMPRESSIVE week 1 results 😜😜😜

As in results that showed my bloat gone & with the abs be poppin’…

Truth is….well that didn’t exactly happen.

The scale says I weight the same, well actually slightly MORE…
The tape measure says NO change
The bloat is still hanging around…

But I still felt I had to share this…

How many of you have ever felt like you ROCKED the week, nailed it in the gym, ate super clean, and yet it felt like it was for NOTHING 🤷‍♀️💁‍♀️🤦‍♀️🙋‍♀️🙋‍♀️🙋‍♀️

And sometimes it’s just easier to go and eat the cookies right?!

But honestly it’s THIS TRANSPARENCY that allows me to reflect, course correct and also make sure I KEEP GOING! I guess you could argue that THIS is single handedly one of the best PERKS of my JOB!

I took a step and reflected…

And for some reason, I have avoided dairy for the majority of the last 18 months but thought “its on the approved list I’ll enjoy it” – but actually MY BODY HATES DAIRY. So I need to adjust that…just because its on the list doesn’t mean its right for you! You have to learn to listen to your body and realize that even good/healthy foods can have a different effect on us all.

As a FORMER Chrons Disease sufferer, I found dairy is just something to LIMIT, so I am going to continue my vegan superfoods, discontinue my nighttime whey based recharge drink and monitor my post workout recover drink…because, well honestly I’m not so sure I’ll walk without it!

Its far from a total loss, because I saw improvements in my strength in just week over week and was able to increase my weights on several moves today. And I KNOW my consistency, IN TIME, will pay off.

I have women in my accountability group who lost over 7″, who lost 4 pounds, who worked out 6 consecutive days FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER and who had some of the biggest WHYpower & WILLpower moments in their lives ….THAT is a WIN in and of ITSELF!

And my kids jumped in and joined us for a family sweat session over the weekend – BY CHOICE and it warms my heart to see them – imitating the behaviors of US.

-So this week was not a loss
-I am not quiting
-The process isn’t broken
-I just have to tweak my approach.

I look at it as a bit more of a set back for my COMEBACK!
