If you’ve been following me on social media this week you may have noticed I am doing a sneak peek into a BRAND NEW program coming to homes all over the US, Canada and the UK in January – called 80 Day Obsession.
This program is created by celebrity fitness trainer, Autumn Calabrese, the creator of the 21 Day Fix, 21 Day Fix Extreme, Hammer and Chisel, Country Heat, Portion Fix and more!
The corporate led test group just wrapped up and I can tell you the results are MIND BLOWING!
The program officially launches in January of 2018 but you have the opportunity to participate in TWO sneak peek weeks – where you can get a GLIMPSE into the program with A LITTLE OBSESSED.
You can also get prepped for the program by joining me in a “Prepare to be Obsessed” Facebook Accountability and Support Group.
But before you do that, let’s chat more about what you can expect from this program!
What is 80 Day Obsession?
The 80 Day Obsession workout program is an effective, step-by-step approach to building a shaped, curvy butt while simultaneously shrinking the core. It’s 80 days of obsessive focus on fitness and nutrition spread over 13 weeks.
This is not meant to be a beginner focused program but rather targeted to those who want to take their fitness & nutrition as well as results to the next level!
For the first time, Beachbody On Demand members can experience each day of this program in real time.
Starting January 15th, 2018, each new workout will be posted for you to do along with the cast, so you can experience it as well.
Day by day, you’ll feel like you’re part of the action – following along with Autumn and the cast and they progress through the program.
How long are the workouts?
The workouts are intense and average 45 -60 minutes.
Does the nutrition plan follow the container system?
The nutrition plan does incorporate the portion fix containers but not how they were/are used in other programs. You will be following a professionally calibrated macro-timed-nutrition plan with specific meals/containers/types of foods to eat at each point in the day.
What equipment is required?
Strength Slides, Resistance loops (Available on 12/14) a mat, and a set of light, medium and heavy dumbells
What is the “timed nutrition” program like?
The nutrition plan will follow the portion fix nutrition containers that have been used in other programs like Shift Shop, the 21-Day Fix, Hammer & Chisel, Insanity Max: 30, etc…
But rather than looking at a total allotment for the day you are provided with specific breakdown of what you’re eating and when including specific pre and post workout meals.
You are eating at specific times of the day and you have a pre and post workout meal.
One meal a day can be replaced with Shakeology and use of the Beachbody performance line is highly recommended. The energize is my magic mommy go go juice for my pre workout, the hydrate is during the workout (think benefits of gatorade without the sodium, sugar and artificial flavorings), the recovery is post workout (and the key to being able to get up and crush the next day’s workout) and recharge is what I drink 30 minutes before bed (to help speed up muscle recovery and sleep!) and this combo helps you get the most out of your workouts while optimizing results!
What can you do NOW to prep for the January release?
First off you will have an opportunity to preview the program with: A Little Obsessed:
A Little Obsessed workout program is a 5-day introduction program to prepare people for 80 Day Obsession. These workouts are shorter, easier versions of the 80 Day Obsession program and will include a 5-day meal plan and calendar.
Here are a couple of important dates for A Little Obsessed to keep in mind:
• November 6 – November 10: A Little Obsessed will be available exclusively to Beachbody on Demand members as a live stream event. This means, starting on November 6, each day’s workout will be available for live stream at 9am PST and stay up for 24 hours for only BOD members to try. A total of 5 workouts will be available – one for each day between 11/6 – 11/10.
Due to popularity – A Little Obsessed will repeat the sneak peek the week of 11/14 – 11/18.
• December 20th – January 14, 2018: A Little Obsessed will return to Beachbody On Demand, so everyone can try it out and ramp up for the launch of 80 Day Obsession.
It will be in home page of beachbodyondemand.com, so you can try it FREE, even if you aren’t a member!
