I was not a nutritionist and I am still learning something new every day.
I was not at my goal weight and somedays I am at it and others not so much…its a journey.

I thought people who took selfies were self absorbed & CR-A-ZY!
I never wanted to be called a “sales person”
I didn’t have Instagram or a Blog and had no desire to learn them.

I am coming up on my 3 year anniversary of participating and then hosting online Fitness challenges and I can tell you first hand it has spoken VOLUMES in my personal Health & Wellness journey. I honestly don’t know where I would be if I had stopped after that first round of the 21-day fix back in 2014…or heck even after a year. ACCOUNTABILITY IS KEY!
I was able to get to the point where I could carve out that 30 minute and time for myself – but controlling what was on my plate – going in my body -the other 23.5 hours of the day is where I realized THE STRUGGLE IS REAL.

FITNESS:

NUTRITION:
I have shared this simplified meal plan with my participants and I will walk them through how I plan out my meals, how the prep all goes down and how I maximize on those leftovers.
I think its safe to say we are ALL BUSY:
Working mom, stay at home mom, dog mom, pinterest mom, amazon mom, entrepreneurs, corporate ladder climbers, etc..
We are all BUSY – but learning how to effectively PLAN out and PREPARE for the week ahead is CLUTCH!
And the final piece comes in ACTIONS and less words.
SUPPORT:
Its the accountability – knowing that there is a group of other people right there along side you – learning as you go – trying, failing, and moving forward.
Its hard to explain it to you-but I can SHOW you first hand the power it holds!

If you had told me 3 years ago – as I frantically attempted to figure out how to be a SAHM mom to a demanding 2 year old who stopped napping and a newborn who threw up every meal he ate and NEVER…. I mean NEVER slept – that I would just up and start a work from home business around helping other people from laptop…I would have LAUGHED in your face and then sent you to the looney bin.
It just wasn’t in the cards for me.
I was “BUSY”
But here’s the thing…we are all busy.
And we all make time for the things that MATTER – that IMPACT us.
I fell IN LOVE with it all.
Quickly.
With the amazing support from my fellow challengers.
With the family aspect of this team I joined.
With the confidence I was GAINING each and every single day.
I had a purpose again…beyond my role as MOM….
I was HELPING others the same WAY I was helped. And it felt good.
So it didn’t become a question of if I had time.
The question was – How can I make TIME?
And you know what – I FIGURED IT OUT.
I didn’t work in an office.
No two days were the same.
I didn’t have 9-5 hours.
BUT I MADE IT WORK.
Trial and Error.
Failing forward.
Making sacrifices.
I made it work – because I wanted it to work for me!!!
And if you want to make it work – I PROMISE you – you can.
And I can TEACH you exactly what I did and the systems I have put in place as I teach my TEAM as we continue to grow and change the lives of others every single day.

You see this last weekend I did something I envisioned a year ago but wasn’t certain it would become a reality…at least not so soon!
Now I have to share that this would not have been possible without the incredible support of my husband
He was a key player as I hosted my first ever DIAMOND Retreat in Deep Creek MD with one of my closest friends and what I like to think of as my Business Partner in crime!
You see…Sarah and I attended a leadership retreat last year hosted by our upline sponsor coach and we decided that this year we would do the same…with OUR leaders WE would help shape as we built our teams, our legacy, our TRIBEs throughout the last year.
Sarah and I are Success Partners.
We are each other’s biggest fans, shoulder to lean on, supporter and FRIEND. We get each other, build on one another’s strength’s and compliment each other’s weaknesses in a way that allows us to become better Coaches and better LEADERS.
Being able to work together to host this weekend and to get these girls together was literally a DREAM COME TRUE!
The only thing that would have made it better was if all our Diamond Coaches could attend!
Our Friday morning kicked off with a car loaded with gifts, food, craft supplies and perhaps some beverages!
We planned this weekend to not only recognize our leaders but help them grow, answer their questions, give them advice, help them with their vision and have some fun and celebrate all our team accomplishments!!!
The girls all walked in to a table covered with personalized posters and a few gifts of course!!! Gift giving has become my love language in this business. These ladies work H-A-R-D and being able to shower them with meaningful, purposeful gifts fills my heart, or my cup shall I say!
Friday night included a training while we piled high on the couches, ears wide open ready to absorb, take notes, and apply these things to our business.
We had fun asking questions, allowing the girls to all get to know each other and all sharing a bit more about ourselves and WHY we all not just took this LEAP into coaching but continue to work hard each and every day to grow our businesses and serve others!
There were happy tears, some sad tears and a heck of a lot of bonding!
Our Saturday was JAM PACKED…starting with few minutes for ME!
I know it may sound crazy but I need these 10-15 minutes of positivity in the mornings to get into that mindset.
We enjoyed a COUNTRY HEAT LIVE workout led by one of our coaches…
From the girl who never wears make up and didn’t even OWN a curling iron to last year I will admit…getting all done up and feeling like a princess is one heck of a confidence boost!
When the glam was over we switched gears and headed off to the Lake to RELAX. I honestly feel that the best aspect was NO WIFI!!
Unplugged, laughing, chatting, being adventurous and simply being together was so rejuvenating!
We enjoyed all our meals at the house, prepared with good company, keeping it clean where we could
and splurging where anyone would…ICE CREAM BAR!
The last “activity” included crafting up vision boards together.
Each girl brought their own board, ideas and together we talked about what we wanted, what we needed, what our path looked like and how big our dreams could be dreamt!
Did you know when you write out your goals it will force you to clarify what you want because it will motivate you to take action?
It will provide a filter for other opportunities and it will help you overcome resistance because it will enable you to see—and celebrate—your progress.
If I can give you one bit of advice: its don’t just sit with your goals in your head.
Write them down.
Share them with others.
And celebrate every step along the way!
Our night ended, we woke up Sunday morning, said our goodbye’s and all headed home.

Thankful
and
BLESSED to have this weekend.
I often share that this life I now have is nothing that I ever imagined my life would look like.
I thought I was going to be this successful business woman working in a tall city sky scraper in NYC making the big bucks
But now that I look back, I realize that I still have that career I envisioned…I just work from a home office in the Pittsburgh suburbs…

After buying 3 heads of cauliflower (that ended up sitting in my fridge until they grew mold) the 4th one was a charm!!! I braved the ever intimidating cauliflower crust pizza and while it was a bit time consuming at first I have to say – it was a family hit!!! I love that it is gluten free and while a bit too many blues for my usual 21-day fix approved daily nutrition plan – it was a hit and will be back in the rotation for sure!!!
WHAT YOU NEED:
2 cups riced cauliflower (it will reduce to about 1 cup cooked, riced cauliflower. One large head will make about 6 cups of riced cauliflower…enough for 3 pizzas. You can cook multiple at once and eat as leftovers or save for another day/another meal)
1/3 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/3 cup grated parmesan cheese
1 egg, beaten
1 tsp roasted red pepper and garlic seasoning (you could use garlic, onion, italian, etc…just a little bit of something to spice it up)
1 tsp crushed garlic
Pizza sauce and toppings of your choice!
WHAT YOU NEED TO DO:
1. To rice the cauliflower, cut into florets then smaller chunks and pulse in a food processor until you see rice-like bits. Do not over process, you don’t want it to be mushy!!!
2. Microwave the riced cauliflower in a microwave-safe bowl for about 6 minutes (keep in mind all microwaves vary!!!) There is no need to add water – the cauliflower is all you need! After microwaving, move the cooked – riced cauliflower into a mesh strainer or cheese cloth and drain completely, pressing out excess water. Once drained, transfer to a clean dish towel or stack of paper towels and continue pressing out any excess water. This key is step – if you do not get the water out your crust will not be crispy!
3. Preheat oven to 450 degrees and spray a cookie sheet with non-stick cooking spray (I prefer olive oil spray!)
4. In a medium bowl, combine 1 cup riced, cooked cauliflower, 1 egg, beaten and your parmesan cheese. Next, add seasonings and crushed garlic. Make sure everything is well mixed – I prefer using my hands!!! Place the dough mixture on the cookie sheet and pat out 8-9” round or square pizza crust.
(Note: I doubled the recipe to make two pizzas as shown below)
5. Bake your dough at 450 degrees for 12-15 minutes.

6. Remove from oven. Add sauce, mozzarella cheese, and your favorite (pre-cooked) toppings to your pizza. We did one pizza with just cheese and sauce for the kiddos and one with chicken and sautéed spinach on the other. Place pizza under broiler for about 2-3 minutes, or just until cheese is melted.
ENJOY!!!!

I didn’t have a vision at first. I never imagined I could create a BUSINESS working from home, while continuously working to become the best version of myself, helping my family become healthier, traveling, working towards financial FREEDOM and building incredible friendships!!!
I would not be living such a fulfilling life today if I hadn’t taken the leap to become a Beachbody Coach 15 months ago!
While it was the accountability that got me started, it was the friendships, support and being lifted up higher that keeps me going!!!
